Me
I am myself and I think I am the best
I try to be better than all the rest
I try real hard just to be me
I try real hard to stay happy
I try my best to live by God's rule
That way I know my life will be cool
If I don't live by His rule, then I'll start to sin
Then a whole new other life will suddenly begin
And that new life is not for me
That's not the way I am suppose to be
I'm suppose to live the way God tells me to live
Whatever I do is suppose to be positive
I'm very unique in my own little way
And in God's arms is where I'm going to stay
Doing all the things He requires me to do
I will remain the way I am but I will always be true
Having the aspiration that I'll need to survive
I will remain a beautiful child in God's eyes
I am glad to be me and not anybody else
I have the qualities that God gave me. That's why I love myself
I am the person that He made so please don't hate
And no one else can be me in any kind of way
This is the way God planned for me to be
But whoever I become, I will always be me

The Inner Me
People look at the way I walk
And they look at my outer appearance
They look at what I've been through
And they don't think I'm God fearing
Why do they look on the outside?
That's not all they should see
They should look deep down in my soul
And find the inner me
God knows my heart. He looks on the inside
My inner spirit is very beautiful in God's eyes
I praise God from whom all blessings flow
He knows my inside and He loves me so
God sees my outside
But that's not all He wants to see
He looks deep down in my soul
And He finds the inner me
Many of my friends know how I am
They know what I would and wouldn't do
They know that I always put God first
Now tell me why won't you
If God was first in your life
You wouldn't judge me by my appearance
You wouldn't be concerned about how I look
Or worry about what I am wearing
You won't just look on the outside
Because that's not all you would see
You would look deep down in my soul
And find the inner me
What is wrong with the world today
People don't have any common sense
They shouldn't judge a book by its cover
And start making bad comments
When people look at me
They just look at the flesh
They don't look at my inner spirit
And that's the true test
Why do they look on the outside
That's not all they should see
They should look deep down in my soul
And find the inner me
I also have to know what I think of myself
And what's on the inside of me
I have to sight my inner spirit
Farther than anyone else can see
I need to have a positive image of myself
Which will help me understand
That I can't judge myself by how I look
I must find the inner man
I don't need to just look on the outside
Because that's not all I see
Since I'm able to look deep down in my soul
I found the inner me

Life
Life is a cycle; it will not stop
It will never ever reach a top
Physically life will end, but
Spiritually it comes back again
Life is what people really need
If they ever want to succeed
If you put God first in all you do
Then all your dreams in life will come true
First you must live your life and understand
That He is God and He is the man
So put God first in your life
And let Him always stay by your side
Cause He will never ever let you down
For He will turn your whole life around
Just live your life to the fullest and do not stop
Its the only way you can reach that top
Living your life should be understood
And you should always try to live it really good
For you know not what life could give
But you could find out everyday that you live

In A Time
In a time of tears and sorrow
Just lift your head and pray for tomorrow
When you feel that you don't want to bare anymore
Just open your mouth and call on the Lord
In a time when you feel like life is hard
Just bow your head and pray to God
Pray for your problems to just fade away
And that tomorrow will be a better and brighter day
In a time when you feel that you don't have a friend
You need to realize that God is there until the end
He's there through the storm and through the rain
Anything that you're going through, He'll hold your hand
In a time when you feel like giving up
Because you thought that your life was just too tough
Just have faith and never doubt
And the Lord will surely take that pain out
Because He loves you much more than words can say
So you should praise His name each and every day
You will live right and not feel down anymore
In a time that you can praise the Lord

I Believe I Can
I believe I can do all things through Christ
Who is the leader and protector of my life
On Calvary is where He stands
And through Him, I believe I can
I believe that I can fly
I can spread my wings and touch the sky
All I have to do is stretch out my hand
And look to heaven and believe that I can
I believe that I can pray
That should be done every single day
I just close my eyes and bow my head
And pray to God. I believe I can
I believe that I can survive
For as long as I live, I'll stay alive
I'll live according to God's plan
And I'll always believe that I can
I believe that I can praise the Lord
I believe that He is the one I adore
And one thing I'll always understand
Through Jesus Christ, I believe I can
There's nothing that I can't do
I believe that you should feel the same way too
Just have faith and God will remove your pain
And from then on, you will believe that you can
